On Monday, September 24, the third grade class visited Flinchbaugh’s Orchard in Hallam, Pennsylvania. There the students learned about the different types of corn and their uses. Then the class was given the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Everyone enjoyed picking an apple from the apple orchard. Their last activity was a hayride through the farm. Despite the gloomy weather, the students had a great and fun experience.
